Our Accommodation
Tucked away beside the woods near the pretty Suffolk village of Assington, Chestnut Grove is home to two characterful one-bedroom cottages.
Each cottage has been thoughtfully refurbished to create a cosy and comfortable rural retreat, complete with a wood-burning stove, walk-in shower, private outdoor space, barbecue and high-speed Wi-Fi.
The cottages can be booked separately or together, with an internal communicating door making them ideal for families or friends travelling as a group.

Travelling with family or friends?
Darcy’s Cottage and Brian’s Cottage sit side by side and share an internal communicating door. Book both cottages together to enjoy extra space while still having the privacy of two separate retreats.
Explore the Local Area
Assington has a café, farm shop and our lovely pub, the Shoulder of Mutton. Head out of the gate, turn right and follow Bures Road. The café & farm shop are 0.7 miles away, the pub 1 mile. Further afield some of our favourite pubs are the Crown in Stoke by Nayland the Anchor in Nayland. For walks on the doorstep we love Assington Thicks, and the Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s nature reserve at Arger Fen is just round the corner.
